My husband and I have just returned from a weekend stay at Briarfields, and would be happy to recommend this beautiful boutique guest house to even the most discerning traveller. Pete and Trish are natural hosts, who made us feel very welcome. The property has been recently refurbished to a very high standard, and is still being improved with the additions of lovely paintings and ornamental features. The bedrooms are large and airy, with the added extra of a sitting room in room no.4. Breakfast was cooked to order and served in a lovely spacious breakfast room. Torquay is a slow 20 min walk away along the seafront. JUST PERFECT!
