Just returned from a five day stay at this hotel. Food was brilliant, portion size and choice excellent. Rooms clean got everything we needed in them. Staff friendly, would definitely go back to this hotel. Entertainment enjoyable no need to leave the hotel.

Very disappointed with this hotel. Recepionist was very rude staff even worse. The location was good and so was the evening entertainment BUT the hotel is badly in need of refurbishment. The room was shabby, service very poor - no clean towels or sheets provided in five days, food very tasteless. My best advice would be don't go!

My first impression on arrival at the Ashley Court hotel wasn't too good. The receptionist seemed too busy to be able to spend time welcoming us to the hotel and going into any detail. On arrival in our room,I was pleased with the bedroom ample space and very clean. (clean towels daily)we also had a lovely view of the hotels heated outdoor pool, which was beautiful, warm and clean. We had bed breakfast and evening meal for a week and every meal was wonderful there was plenty and it was always hot.The waitresses were pleasant and helpful too. I enjoyed my holiday at the hotel and thought torquay was a beautiful place, but I was slightly disappointed with the entertainment and felt there could have been more smiles!! Not really for young children, more for the older more mature person. would definately go again but pin later life without the kids.

We have just returned from our first UK coach holiday with PC Coaches (Lincoln) to the Ashley Court Hotel, Torquay. It was excellent, first class, very clean, food exceptional, staff very friendly with a terrific sense of humour. We will certainly go again.

Just returned from a Christmas break at the Ashley Court. The management & staff went out of their way to make sure that everyone in the hotel had a good time feeling by the time it was to book out. We will be returning in 2007 for sure! The rooms were fine, the food was excellent,the entertainment was first rate and - guess what - we've booked to return in the spring. Not for the summer though - I'm returning to Malaysia for a three weeker - but maybe Ashleyu Court again in the autumn.
