Great Staff
Stayed at this hotel for the second year on a bowling weekend. Vastly improved from previous year. Food adequate, bedrooms very clean, beds clean and comfortable. Hoping to return with my own group. Thanks for a lovely weekend. Owner welcomes you on arrival and departure. He is a great chap.

Seemed like coach parties were unwelcome!
My wife and I were very dissapointed with our stay here. The hotel staff treated individual travellers with a respect not shown to us! I also have to say, that the hot breakfasts were at best lukewarm and not at all enjoyable. I will certainly give the Anchorage a miss next time!

The Anchorage was just fabulous, the entire stay was 100%,food, rooms, staff and decor. We have already booked again for next year, I wouldn't miss the chance to stay here!

Excellent, Excellent, Excellent
Wonderful hotel. Very pleasant staff. Immaculate bedrooms, bathrooms, dining room. Food well cooked and plentiful. Nicely tended gardens. Obviously well looked after hotel. One of the best I have stayed in when going on a short break. Would love to stay there again.

Food wasn't bad, but........
Priced fair, food adequate, accommodation below standard (dirty). Bathroom lights were not working, requested to get maintenance to fix, we waited half day, but nothing was done, couldn’t have a shower in the dark. We moved to a different room, and found stains on bed linen, shower head was mouldy, general condition below standard, and cleanliness was below standard. Also sticky cups were found, entertainment was ok.
