We have just had the May-day weekend here, the staff are really friendly and helpful, the choice of food is really good. Must be one of the best positioned hotels in St Ives for getting out and about under your own steam, bus station and railway station only about 300 yards away, 500 yards and you're in the town centre. We had a room with a sea-view it was well worth the extra to have the sight of the sunrise.
Everything great but accomadation!

I found the staff very friendly and so helpful. Food and service very good and entertainment well above average. Room clean but could do with updating. Would definitely go again. Great holiday..

I recently returned after a week at the hotel. Manager Craig and all his staff were very friendly, food very good, ntertainment on most evenings was a bit hit and miss but the young lady Ruth did her best with her nightly. Quiz and bingo sessions, overall it turned out to be a nice relaxing week.

A brilliant little hotel set just above a long sandy beach with close proximity to train station and bus stop. I found the staff very courteous and helpful. The food was excellent and our waitress was the most helpful that you could ask for and always pleasing. The food was exceptional and plentiful, the rooms were very clean though our room was a bit jaded and could have done with a fresh lick of paint but that aside everything about the hotel was pleasing and we couldnt fault it. The nightly entertainment was quite good, the bar was small, but never crowded and the lounge furniture was comfortable with comfy settees and a pool table. We had a room with sea view and could hear the waves lapping on the beach below, the hotel is on a slight hill so would probally not suit those who aren't able to walk very far or cannot manage steps as there are a lot of steps down to the beach or otherwise a fairly steep walk downhill. The area is most picturesque & clean with plenty of very good restaurants, bistos and cafes as well as a few good pubs and all within easy walking distance. Also there are lots of public toilets around, a boon to some! St Ives is a charming little town and a lovely harbour with lots of artists and galleries and a good public transport system, so a car isn't really necessary. There are four beaches close to the hotel within walking distance and a surfers beach about 30 mins walk. All in all a lovely hotel in a lovely part of the country.
