Complete agreement with the other review. Very poor value - everything is overpriced (e.g. £26 for four very ordinary sandwiches). Make sure they see your room and confirm it's ok as you check out or they'll make up extra charges. Too expensive, rooms average, staff unhelpful, rude and ignorant manager - only the location is good. DON'T STAY HERE!

Apart from the location this place has little to offer. Rooms are small and dingy, food average and although most of the younger staff are lovely, there is one man who could teach Basil Faulty a thing or two!
It's an expensive place and definately NOT worth the money!

Top Local Tips for St. Austell
St Austell St Austell is a nice place for stopping off if you are visiting the Eden project or The lost Gardens of Helegan. There are some nice coastal areas we had bad weather which put a damper on things but still managed to enjoy the Gardens above.
Boring Nothing to do in St Austell, only one street. Choose a Hotel to sit and relax and stay there.
