Only if you have no alternativefrom H
One plus: the front reception staff went out of their way to help me repack something I had bought in Slough and planned to put in the hold on the flight back to Spain. They could not have been more helpful.
Rooms -- antiseptic, so run-of-the-mill, and frighteningly expensive. Food: not tried, ate out, but menu in restaurant looked pretentious and over-priced. Bar: noisy, as mentioned above, but the only option in a part of Slough where there are no pubs.
Summary: if you have no option (and I didn't because I had a meeting at 07h30) then you will at least survive. If you can go elsewhere, then do. Not dirty or anything like that -- just soulless and appalling value for money.
A typical Slough business hotel - no more, no lessfrom Hypnos
Location: it is conveniently located very close to the M4 - which on the other hand provides for an unconfortable constant hum of the motorway throughout the night. It is far away from Windsor centre if you are planning a tourist visit to the town
Rooms: Typical business rooms - spacious room, all the usual amenities, good bathroom. It did suffer from being a bit noisy, the bed was not very confortable and the TV didn't work, but overall, the rooms were ok.
Service: Good service although the bar/restaurant service could've been better
Eating: Breakfast was ok with the usual variety of cold and hot buffet. Dinner was also good, although very pricey
Others: Nice to have a convenient and good-sized car park. the hotel design itself is pretty modern, but it certainly feels like you are in a "chain" hotel with little character.

Good value, friendly stafffrom d20gdx
Breakfast and evening meal adequate although slightly on the expensive side. Rooms are spacious and modern. The only problem I had was with the temperature on the first night. I happened to have a thermometer on my clock and it got to almost 26'c in the early hours of the morning. I asked for a room change on the first night and the second room was fine.
Advantages: 1) friendly staff 2) near Windsor 3) good value 4) appears to me to have good accessibility for disabled visitors, e.g. hoist into swimming pool
Disadvantages 1) decor in breakfast area a bit basic 2) views from the window are of Slough's main power generation plant! 3) you have to pay for parking
So unhappy we had to go elsewhere!from A TripAdvisor Member
On entering our bedroom we were very disappointed at the size and standard. Considering that we were under the impression that this is a 4 star hotel, the quality of bedroom certainly did not warrant this.
The bed was small and uncomfortable. The bed-settee for the children was worse. The bathroom was small and the shower did not work. My husband descibed the room as a prison cell.
We telephoned reception in the hope of upgrading to a better room. The duty manager understood our complaints but could do nothing as the hotel was full.
We agreed that we would stay for one night and checked in elsewhere for the rest of our stay.
I was pleased that we had done this as the breakfast the next morning was dire. Served in a function room set with banqueting tables there was not enough tables, staff or food for the number of customers.
I was glad to leave.
Fabulous Hotel!from seaham2004
Our check in was fast ...the staff are friendly and efficient. The room is quite spacious compared to some other 4* hotels we have stayed in before (even though an extra bed was put in for our son). The food is fabulous - very nice and tasty ...pricy according to another reviewer but that is what you get when you're getting "DESIGNER" stuff (Brian Turner who owns Turner's Grill is a celebrity chef ...don't you know?). We'll definitely recommend the hotel to people and if we happen to be around Slough again, we'll stay there.

The room I had for the first time was great, the shower was excellent, however this time it was a different room and poor shower.
A mix up was made with my payment, as it was organised through work, and should've been paid for upfront, this was down to the website. When i offered to pay with cash, as i didn't take a credit card with me, I was looked at like a criminal.
Your staff on reception are really rude, I will never stay there again, or recommend it.
Superb hotelfrom gwaring
We were very impressed with this hotel from the moment we arrived. Check in was speedy even though they were also checking in a large wedding party at the same time. The room we got was clean although the decor is a little bit dated. The bathroom was clean and tidy and contained all the usual toiletries needed.
The room service menu is quite varied but we opted to go to the new "Turner's Grill". A very pleasant little restaurant with very attentive staff and cosy atmosphere. We both ordered the fishcake starter with musy peas. WOW! It is gorgeous, would highly recommend it, followed by a T-Bone steak. Not so great especially at £19 per steak, but a great sized portion.
Morning breakfast was superb, a huge selection and the Full English is great. Staff were very friendly.
Check out was again speedy but they do charge £5 per night for guests to park in the car park. Very unusual for a hotel, I think Copthorne hotels need to look into that one.
Overall a great hotel to spend a few nights, and very close to loads of attractions.

Legoland tip You can book this hotel through the legoland website to get 2 days entry to park and hotel included
Slough is a commercial outpost. Stay in a smaller hotel in Windsor, Eton or Henley. Friendlier, more convenient and probably cheaper.
Taxi ride to station get the hotel to book you a cab, you choose the time and its just £5 to the train station - time it for a London train and you won't even wait.
