nice long weekend break,lovely hotel, nice clean rooms, good selection for breakfast, poached egg was my favourite, could not fault the sunday roast really enjoyed the homemade yorkshire puds excellant!!!,red wine selection was good, overall our stay was great,thankyou glynn&teresa warburton.

We have just spent a few days exploring the North York Moors and the coastline. The hotel was perfectly positioned for this and at the end of the day it was nice to come back to a comfortable room and excellent food. The gardens are amazing and there is a view of the Esk valley steam train from the end of the garden....top marks

we only booked for 2nights as we hadn,t been befor,we loved it and asked to stay longer but it was fully booked ! say no more.Fantastic food,lovely place,we,ll definitely be back.Only constructive criticism,we would have liked to have been greeted/ introduced to the owners,

Stayed here for 2 nights in March with my Mum, eating in the restaurant on the Saturday night. The views from the garden are amazing and the hotel is in a lovely setting and easy to find! Greated very nicely and shown to our room, which had a balcony overlooking the view. Very clean, tidy and well set out with a decent size ensuite. The food was amazing, from the fry-up at breakfast which was presented like a piece of art, to the 3 course meal we had for dinner, which we couldn't put a fault to. Lovely little bar and conservatory to relax in in the evenings. We walked into Whitby, which took about 80minutes, although there is a local bus service, great base for exploring the moors by car as well. Whole stay was amazing, and a great bargain! Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.
