My son and his wife had their wedding reception at the Clamart and this was booked at very late notice. I cannot praise enough the time and care that was taken by the owner and staff to ensure this was a memorable and enjoyable day for everyone. The staff are welcoming and friendly and the food and service was excellent. Much effort had been made to ensure the room and tables looked their best and that everything was as we had requested. Some guests stayed overnight and reported that the rooms were very clean and comfortable with an excellent breakfast next morning. I would heartily reccommend this hotel to anyone.

I booked this hotel as it is only 2 minutes away from the theatre in Scunthorpe. I had a lovely night at the theatre and a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was very clean and everybody took good care of me and made me feel very comfortable which is not always the case when you are travelling on your own. A lovely weekend from beginning to end and I should be back again.

Had to stay in Scunthorpe for a few nights due to work commitments and saw this hotel on the web. What a superb stay. Great service and staff, very clean room, great breakfast and always somebody to talk to at the bar. Great advantage to be able to go online everywhere in the hotel. At night I could talk to my girlfriend online in my room - great. Very good evening meals at a good price too. All that for £ 45 a night. I'll certainly be back if I need to go to Scunthorpe again.

I'd booked this quite late as a stopover after a football match and wasn't sure what to expect. As a lone woman, I was approaching the whole "away at Scunthorpe in the cup" experience with some trepidation! This hotel was a really pleasant surprise. The welcome was warm and I was able to talk about the match with friendly locals in the comfortable bar for a while after the game. My room was small but perfectly formed. Immaculately clean and comfortable with everything I needed for a night's stay. Music permeating from downstairs in the morning helped me to get up in time for breakfast! This may not suit everyone but it worked for me! After a heavy day of traveling and a late night I wasn't rating my chances of getting up early enough for breakfast but was glad I did. Again, breakfast was good and the hoteliers very friendly and helpful. I hope we draw Scunthorpe in the cup again next year so I can go back, or better still - I wish them a double promotion so I can go every year!

I was very impressed with this hotel. A work colleague put me on to it and i have it say its fabulous. A brand new hotel in the centre of town, yet quiet and friendly. The staff made me feel very welcome and at home. the rooms are excellent and clearly brand new, all ensuite etc. Brilliant place and if you are in scunthorpe i would highly recommend it
