Raincliffe Hotel Scarborough

Our stay at the Raincliffe Hotel was fantastic,Kathrine and Mal are lovely people and we were made to feel very much at home.The room was excellent very clean and the bed was so comfy.The food was excllent but next time i go though i will be having child portions.What a great stay my husband and i had we will be returning.

An excellent weekend was had by our Party of 4, this was made more enjoyable by Katherine who looked after us and Mal who entertained us with his variety of jokes and stories. The rooms are furnished to a high standard and the cleanliness is second to none. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a relaxed break away in a great location. I will be returning in October to taste the superb home cooking especially the Steak Pie.

THIS IS OUR UMPTEEN VISIT TO THE RAINCLIFFE EVERYTIME WE VISIT IT GETS BETTER MAL AND KATHERINE OH AND OF COURSE CHRISTINE ARE SUPER FANTASTIC HOSTS WE SAY YOU CANNOT IMPROVE ON PERFECTION AND WE CERTAINLY PICKED THE PERFECT HOTEL WE INTEND TO GO BACK SEVERAL TIMES THIS YEAR AND WE KNOW IT WILL BE PERFECT. ROOMS FIRST CLASS AND VERY VERY CLEAN AND HOMELY. FOOD WELL MALS BREAKFAST IS LEGENDARY RONNIE CAN NOW FINISH IT ME WELL I AM GETTING BETTER. CLEANLINESS IS A STAR. Everything was excellent about our stay. Katherine and Mal are great hosts, the room was spacious, the beds comfortable and the food excellent. I would recommend the Raincliffe to anyone who wants a relaxing break in a quiet location.

We have just returned from a weekend at the Raincliffe Hotel in Scarborough – and were made so welcome from the moment we arrived until the time we left. We enjoyed are stay so much that we plan to go back in October. The hospitality of Mal and Kathryn is second to none! They made you feel right at home and nothing was too much trouble for them. The rooms are exceptional – and very clean. And the breakfasts – well! You won’t need to eat anything after breakfast until tea time. But make sure you don’t leave anything!! Its location is perfect, it’s in a very quiet residential area that is a short walk to both the town centre and sea front. We would recommend that anyone looking for accommodation for Scarborough or the surrounding area take a close look at the Raincliffe Hotel, you would not be disappointed a definite 10 out of 10.
