We stayed for 2 nights at the Mansion House..excellent accommodation, excellent breakfast..friendly staff. We wil certainly be returning in the near future.

Stayed at the Mansion House Scarborough on business this week and was very impressed. Glass of wine on arrival and free upgrade, staff were very polite, helpful and informative. Rooms newly refurbished and flat screen TV very nice with free Wi Fi. The property is situated right on South Cliff with easy free parking and superb views and easy walk into town. I have to visit Scarborough again in the near future and will certainly stay again at the Mansion House.

My sister and I had a lovely short break at this gorgeous hotel. We were reluctant to go home as the ambience, views, and very helpful and friendly staff made it all a pleasure.

What a lovely hotel. Lovely ambience superbly furnished great food and attention to detail. 40 inch Flat Screen TVs DVDs free WiFI, glass of wine on arrival. The hotel manager is very efficent and attentive. Will return soon.

Just spent a few days in Scarborough and stayed at the Mansion House Hotel because of the good reviews it has received. I can now see why so many others were staying at the hotel whilst I was there. This hotel although small is outstanding. From the moment you walk up to the hotel it looks warm, friendly and welcoming this continued throughout our stay. Lovely furnishings and touches from the free wine on arrival to the super food at Dinner. We even received some choclates and an engraved diary on departure. Will certainly recommend to our friends.

Superb stay at this very classy small hotel. Excellent acommodation with plasma screen tv's mini bar etc. Lovely little touches and beautiful furniture. Best location in Scarborough being right on the South Cliff with perfect views of the bay and harbour. Will be returning.

Just returned from a short break at the Mansion House Hotel Scarborough and would just like to say what a wonderful time all the family had. The kids loved the room awith its 40 inch flat screen tv with DVD. The location of the hotel is ideal being right on the South Clifff. The staff were great and very friendly, the food excellent we had dinner on most evenings. One thing that made the holiday stand out was all the little extras the hotel provide besides the use of swimming pools and spa which the kids really enjoyed. If hotels are this good in the UK then I will stay in England for my future holidays.

Had an excellent stay again at the Mansion House Hotel. The rooms have been refurbished since my last visit and now have 40 inch flat screen TV's and DVD's with a hotel DVD library. The mini bar was also a new addition. Food and service was first rate and the gardens looked lovely. I will continue to stay at the hotel on my visits to Scarborough, as it is one of the nicest hotels on the coast.

I recently visited Scarborough and stayed at the Mansion House Hotel. I found the service and staff second to none and the hotel is beautifully situated. I intend to stay again when I next travel to Scarborough.

Extremely nice break at this very friendly and comfortable hotel. Was visitng on business and just found the hotel on the internet. Very nice hotel and has a lovely situation with beautiful views of the harbour and sea.

Top Local Tips for Scarborough

Amazing value boat trips round the bay We loved Scarborough, and the cheapest "attraction" (we think it was £3.50 each) was a boat trip in an old fishing vessel right round the North Bay. The weather was appalling (cold, windy and wet), and the boat is VERY no frills, but it was fantastic - lasted a couple of hours, and we think we might have had the best cup of coffee ever on that boat (though, to be fair, it was warm and at that stage that was good enough for us!)

evenings out If you can make a trip to the Spa or the Futurist theatre for an evening out. The shows are extremely affordable and make a lovely evening out whilst on holiday.
