bedroom was extremely small, dusty and full of cobwebs. ensuite not clean on our arrival, urine and pubic hairs all over toilet seat! we were unsure also if the bedding had been changed. had a word with the owner who said it was not her fault but her chambermaid as she was only a young girl. on our return to the room found just the toilet had been cleaned, floor still dirty, dusty and hairy. however a fresh towel had been placed on the bed with now some toiletries on. had we not been struggling to find a room and were in need of meeting some friends shortly to go to a concert we would have left to find another guest house. ken dodd's tickling stick could have been put to good use in our room!

breakfast was interesting,rice crispies already in our bowls on entering the dining room. on asking for de-caff coffee or tea were told they didn't have any but had earl grey tea. however, the cooked breakfast was excellent but a word of warning don't leave any on your plate or you get told off by the owner for wastage!

jalna house is brilliant...clean friendly,nice proprietor,amazing breakfast,great lounge to relax in..oh and the price..?? wont find better..believe me i tried...go take a look..you wont be dissapointed...go on.. thanks for a great stay dorothy..John..

The family bedroom was lovely and clean. We had a pink duvet on our daughters bed which we thought was a lovely touch! The owners were very friendly. Breakfast was wonderful. In all it was a lovely place to stay and would recommend this to anybody.

The owners were really friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Considering there was around 20 of us teenage girls, that was no mean feat! The rooms were all clean and pleasant and the kitchen was spotless. The food was good. A bit cramped, but a great location for the seafront and a good price(or so i'm told)
