This was our first stay at the crown and I have to say we enjoyed it. We stayed there for a couple of nights on our wedding anniversary. I think most of the refurbishment must now be done. We stayed in room 320 and it had obviously already been done. New carpet, clean and tidy bathroom, we had no complaints whatsoever. The pool and gym facilities are excellent, we spent a couple of hours in the pool, spa and sauna, and I treat my wife to a well-deserved sea essential detox mud wrap in the newly opened spa......Fantastic. The staff we came across were all polite and helpful. We took full advantage of the moneysaving vouchers we received on arrival and enjoyed a wonderful meal in Taste Restaurant, the service was excellent. I would definitely stay at The Crown Spa Hotel again.

Despite the heavy rain whilst we stayed there was plenty to do, swim in the pool, chill out in the saunas and jacuzzi. There was even a Spa for the wife. Staff very friendly and food excellent.
