This was our first stay at the crown and I have to say we enjoyed it. We stayed there for a couple of nights on our wedding anniversary. I think most of the refurbishment must now be done. We stayed in room 320 and it had obviously already been done. New carpet, clean and tidy bathroom, we had no complaints whatsoever. The pool and gym facilities are excellent, we spent a couple of hours in the pool, spa and sauna, and I treat my wife to a well-deserved sea essential detox mud wrap in the newly opened spa......Fantastic. The staff we came across were all polite and helpful. We took full advantage of the moneysaving vouchers we received on arrival and enjoyed a wonderful meal in Taste Restaurant, the service was excellent. I would definitely stay at The Crown Spa Hotel again.

Despite the heavy rain whilst we stayed there was plenty to do, swim in the pool, chill out in the saunas and jacuzzi. There was even a Spa for the wife. Staff very friendly and food excellent.

great food .... not for fussy small children We went to potifino italian restaurant which is lovley food if you love seafood etc, but not for children who are fussy eaters. The staff were fantastic and tried very hard to accomadate our small children

Dine at ASK ASK is an italian restaurant on the harbour side of the south bay. Serving very nice pizza, pasta and wine in swish surroundings and welcomes people of all ages.
