Still in the 1970s
I am sure it is great for old age pensioners, but although we are a mature couple did not expect the room not to be cleaned properly. Although it was summer there was torrential rain, after getting soaked, asking the staff for some heating as it was not on, we still had to freeze. Late that night on seeing the manager was if we got the heater she sent up, what rubbish, obvious she had no intention of doing anything of the sort. When we first walked into the room should have realised that we were on a hiding to nothing by the indoor ariel in the window. Breakfast edible but bland. Certainly would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

great place to stay
I stayed at the brooklands for 5 days and what can i say/ the food was fantasic and the management were leading there staff all the way. The squeaky floor boards are still there but I think it adds to the charm of the building. I would challenge anyone to go and not have a good time. With the staff thank you for a great visit stephen, paul and russ

Great Value.
I thought this hotel was of sheer quality. The rooms are up to date and very tidy. Loved the lift reminded me of Titanic. Loved the meals, so much choice.Again the staff were very friendly.10 out of 10.
Management Response from Steven Lewis, Coach Driver Thankyou for your very kind comments which I shall pass onto the new management team!!

Bad Customer Service
Room was dusty, still had the last persons review form in (was it cleaned), no batteries in the remote control, when we went to breakfast every cup was dirty (about 30) so had to use a tea cup for orange juice, asked by foreign waiter brown or white toast said brown and got white, asked for tea/coffee asked for coffee and got tea. Went to reception to keep room on for another night two rough looking men behind reception totally ignored me standing there and then said to each other fancy a coffee and walked off. Obviously I didn’t stay after that and when I handed keys in there was no thank you / did u have a nice stay or anything. Just a rough looking women with no manners. I would recommend going to the north side of Scarborough where it’s cheaper and allot better breakfast/rooms/manners etc
