This was one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. The rooms were dirty and ours smelt of chip fat, my sisters and her partner's room was disgusting - black mould covered the shower cubicle and the carpet in the bedroom was covered in stains, dead flies and god knows what else. My son joined us the next night and the corridor where his room was smelt of stale urine. We were unable to get food after 9 pm, even after ringing on our journey down to Preston to check, we were assured the restaurant closed at 10.30. Our stay at the Swallow Preston marred what was a brilliant weekend visiting my son and watching his team race...I will never book into another Swallow.
