Burlingtons I'm sure I'm not the only one but if you are staying at the Marriott Hotel in Preston eat at Burlingtons rather than anywhere else, it is defiantly the best local dining room and is a hidden gem with a really unique and more gourmet menu than you'd expect for Preston - plus the fixed price menu is great value for about £10.

The Italian Orchard This resaurant is tucket away a bit but the have a website and it's worth finding out where they are. It is run by Italians and their authentic taste comes through everything from the atmosphere to the food. Imaginative dishes can be found along staples all done extremely well. I returned here twice after eating here once, wanting to choose more from the extensive menu. The desserts are nice too, but they are better at the starters and mains.
