great long weekend

2007 the new age festival held at the Ponsmere, it was great fun, first time i had been back to Cornwall since i lived in Truro 25 years previously!!! staff fantastic and hotel lovely, a great stay. i thought it was being knocked down last year??? would be real shame!!!

We have been visiting the Ponsmere (us and extended family) since 1985 when the children were 5 & 3, and still go back regularly. The kids, all grown up now still go back there, sometimes with us and sometimes on their own. Wonderful location, fabulous food, great staff. Tried to get booked this Easter but fully booked! Please don't close.

Brilliant all round for us, our 3 children and their partners, and our 6 grandchildren. In an ideal location, with a lovely restaurant and bar and friendly helpful staff - all at a very reasonable price.

This was our 2nd time at the Ponsmere there was 9 in our group and ages ranged from 4 - 52 and there was something for everyone. The hotel is in a lovely position right on the beach. Our rooms with balcony overlooking the beach were fantastic. The food was really good and nothing was too much trouble for our waiter Thomas. So although the weather was a bit rubbish we still had a great holiday and hope to go back as long as they don't knock it down.

I had so much fun the food was really nice, pools were excellent, the location was absouletly perfect. We really enjoyed staying at this magnificent hotel and would recommend it to anyone. IT WAS BRILLIANT.

So that it doesn't get booked out so quickly! We've been visiting this friendly familiy hotel for nearly 10 years. Although that may sound sad, it's a known quantity and the kids have a great time! Unfortunately this year may be our last as I'm sure it's only a matter of time before the Ponsmere gets bulldozed to make way for yuppy flats. Given it's history and the superb effort the staff make to entertain, it'll be a sad end to an era.

What a great hotel, right by the beautiful Perranporth Beach. The staff are really friendly, and give a faultless service, the accommodation is great, clean tidy and excellent value. The food is lovely with a real home cooked feel. I will definitely be going back again.
