Book! Book restaurants on weekends as there are only a handful and you will end up with a long wait!
Local Community Police and Parking Attendants We had a confrontation with a young community policeman and a Parking attendant who were most unhelpful showing a complete lack of understanding considering the fact that we had so many of our ladies using wheelchairs; the Parking Attendant, especially, was very rude and aggressive and would not endear Penrith to visitors. What a shame the public servants we had the misfortune to come in contact with in Penrith were not as welcoming as Wayne the Manager of The George. In Nothern Ireland where we have had so much conflict in past years we are still more understanding and sympathetic to the elderly who do not wish to be in wheelchairs but through fraility of years have no other choice.
