Recently had our wedding reception here and to be completely honest the place itself is very good, on first impressions it will seem the perfect location.
Be warned

- If you pay £500 for the buffet expect to see five trays of sandwiches and a packet of nuts, which they do replenish in slow fashion. I must be honest there was food left at the end of the night but for £500 I would expect to have seen a little more variety.

- The staff is mainly eastern European as I admit most places are so some problems with the language barrier.

- The staff will help themselves to your buffet, which we just happened to notice.

- The attention to the finer details by the staff is seriously lacking, expect to spend most of the day chasing after staff and coordinating the day yourself, as a result I was completely sober throughout the whole day.

- We were told when we booked the reception that the function would end at 12:00, at 11:00 one of the staff came in and asked for the disco to be switched off.

- You will receive no customer service what so ever, if you complain expect to get the same treatment from the general manager.

Overall for a wedding reception with over a hundred guests, you would expect some level of customer service we didn't receive any. I'm normally quite easily pleased but I found the overall arrogance and uncompromising attitude of the general manager to be unacceptable, believe me once they have your money they will do as they please.
