Wouldn't you like to sleep at night???

This hotel isn't actually that bad. The staff and manager are really friendly and helpful however.......I clearly drew the short straw!!! Apparently I was tne first one EVER to complain about the noise from the condensing units used for the bar! If only they had been air con condensers perhaps my room would not have been so hot after having the windows shut for 10 mins or so - to shut out the noise of the condensing units??? But no! Because the temperature was good as soon as I closed the window (a story in it's own right) - how do these places fulfill their duties under the RRFSO 2005??? These guys are basically ok but dont let them put you in room 215 unless you are deaf (and having read this stupid....LOL) Good Luck All

Great Little stopover

The staff were very friendly at this hotel. The hotel itself could do with a bit more help on the bar as the barmaid/receptionist had to keep dissapearing to answer the phone!! My room was basic but clean and tidy. The food was amazing and well presented. I will use this hotel again!

Great food but shame about management!!

Had two of the most amazing meals ever on a 2 night stay, and was informed by a waitress the chef was french and all i can say is 'he is wasted there!!' The duty manager was the only downfall!! Apart from strutting round the restaurant and upsetting the young staff (i actually witnessed a young girl in tears) the following morning he reeked of alcohol and looked a bit worse for wear!!! I would certainly go back again even if it was just for the food but would hopefully hope they had changed their managment.
