Myself, husband and two children stayed at this hotel together with 3 other couples as we were all attending a nearby wedding. On arrival at the hotel it looked lovely, in a secluded setting with nice grounds and the appearance of a country hotel, we were extremely shocked to see the rooms that we were all given - bearing in mind the photos as shown on the website. Not one of our rooms was as shown in the photographs, all of our rooms were extremely old fashioned and dated and for £70.00 plus VAT, I am sure that we could have found somewhere more suitable to the 21st Century. The only good thing I can say about the hotel is that the breakfast was good and considering the state of the rooms - it needed to be. Also the staff were not particularly helpful or friendly.
