Dodgy hotel

I agree. I was with S mahmood and the none of the showers in there work. My other friend had a bath that didn't run, it was permenantly freezing and the food was vile. Nice chef though. All people nice but the hotel is a wreck.
leaky ceilings

I went to the Riviera on a school trip with my year group. The hotel looks nothing like the pictures, its so old and needs refurbishing badly. I was given a single room to share with two other people! The shower was a little trickle and the whole room stank. During one of the nights it rained quite a bit and the next morning we noticed that the cracks in the ceiling had started to leak and in about one and a half hours we had filled a 2 liter bottle with no sign of stopping.they did repair it though which was good. later we found out that a lot more of the guests also had leaky ceilings!
the good things about this hotel is that the food is really good and its only a 5min walk from the Lusty Glaze beach. Other beaches can also be walked to and the high street looked pretty good. Also the views from your windows are really nice.
i wouldn't recommend staying here for a long time but for a few nights its okay.
Yellow stains?

Our 1st impression of this hotel was when we booked it, the lady we spoke to tried to charge us £60 per night despite the offer of £35 per night on their website, it was only after a trading standards threat that she let us have it for £35, when we arrived there it seemed fine untill we had a look at our bedding, it had yellow stains all over it, we reported it to reception and they sent up "clean" ones, when we got them they were twice as bad it was disgusting, we ended up in woolworths buying our own bedding as the thought off sleeping in theirs was too much, we reported it to a manager but heard nothing. The whole hotel was very dated looked like we had gone back in time to the 80's. Other than that there were nice views, only a few min walk from town centre, decent breakfasts. Would not recommend to anyone who expects a good standard.
