This new Indian restaurant is located on Gateshead Quays between the Sage Gateshead and the Newcastle Gateshead Hilton hotel. . The restaurant itself is divided into two separate dining areas each with a distinct identity; a luxurious restaurant seating 70, a casual dining space for up to 30 people and a relaxed and contemporary ‘light bite’ lounge/bar area where guests can mingle with friends over some liquid refreshment. Low lighting and red walls create a classic look that works beautifully when set against the back drop of famous Tyne Bridge. The Atmosphere and Service at Raval is attentive and slick. Relaxed – tranquil – and the chatter of diners is calm and measured. Perhaps it’s the relaxing views of Tyne Bridge or the muted surroundings that cause the chilled out vibe, but either way, it’s a good place to go if you want to have a quiet meal and chat with friends. The food offered at Raval is up-to-the-minute in terms of ingredients and culinary trends: modern but real Indian food with well thought out dishes. – Mains average £10 – the cooking does always live up to the promise. The /bar Set aside from Raval main restaurant with an ambience to suit all ages, the lounge/bar exudes a contemporary yet intimate atmosphere and a relaxed charm that invites guests to kick back and chill out at any time of the day. Serving an extensive selection of exotic cocktails, Champagnes, fine wines, liqueurs and spirits – all of which are complimented by a choice of delectable finger food and light snacks – Raval’s bar is a haven of comfort and style, catering for every pocket, mood and occasion. All reasonably priced considering the venue. The Last Word…The food and service is excellent, a visit to the Raval restaurant comes highly recommended.

Newcastle Station Don't expect any facilities to be open. It could be such a great place.
