We actually booked to stay at the Cromwell Hotel in Matlock on arrival at the hotel we found no rooms available so we went to the temple and it was brilliant, lovely rooms very clean and very welcoming. After finding out what had happened to us the owners Mel and Chris left a bottle of champagne in our room, which we thought was a lovely touch as it was our honeymoon as well. The meals were delicious both evening and breakfast and the views are breathtaking.
