We have loved The Angler for years!

My family and I first stayed at the Compleat Angler in 1962 and fell in love with it! The service was superb, the rooms elegant and charming, the entire ambiance so very genteel and 'English'! Breakfast overlooking the weir, walks into town, tea in the drawing room, drinks by the fire in the bar, dinner in the lovely dining room. We have since returned many, many times: my Dad on business trips, me for my honeymoon, my brother for his, me and my husband and kids on vacation, etc etc!! The Compleat Angler is a family tradition of ours!! We can't speak highly enough of it.....

Top Local Tips for Marlow
bar, tapas, drinks Three or four pubs in Marlow were being refurbished but we enjoyed a few drinks at a bar called Claytons. It had a great outdoor space including a covered leather seating area. We had tapas which were very well done including fishcakes and fresh calamari. I'd recommend it for a relaxed evening.
Local Restaurants Restaurants are a bit pricy try and find a Pub serving food - better value all round
thames walk There is a wonderful walkway along the river - goes from town to town -- don't miss it!!
