This is a perfectly good hotel. The room was clean & comfortable, facilities fine, breakfast was good, staff friendly and down-to-earth. Quality at a good price. I'll definitely stay there again.

Stayed for 2 nights, window would not shut. It was reported but not fixed. As I stayed for 2 nights, I was expecting the bathroom to be cleaned (at least the sink) - but under their policy they do not clean the bathrooms whilst customers are staying for several nights.
managed to get unsecured wifi easily from room 11 :-)

The outside of the place matched the inside
DIRE bedroom windows would not shut room looked like they might have cleaned the floor and bed sheets where clean but anything else not wort maentioning
restaurant if it wasnt for the fact we only used it once would not have gone in it again
reception staff where pleasant but the hotel is a bit of a dump.

It was our second visit in Manchester but the first time that we stayed in Old Trafford. Location excellent if you are watching a football match as it's nearby but there is definately nothing to do in the evenings. At least we were next to Traffor Bar so we could go to Picadilly Gardens in the evening. Hotel was nothing special. I was expecting room to be cleaned better than it was. Bathroom floor never washed and sheets never changed. Bins rarely emptied. Breakfast items were very minimal as well. I was expecting much more for the high price I had paid!!
Ok!

We came up from london and it was our first time in manchester. We came up to see man utd play and we looked for a cheap place to stay not too far from the ground. When we arrived we thought it looked run down but we got in there and it was ok. The rooms could do with being updated but if your looking to come for a night or two for the footy, then this is a cheap hotel and we had no problem really. As I say it is round the corner from old Trafford Stadium.
Awful service

I didn't stay on the date i booked because the hotel over booked and i was sent at 2.30am to stay in a B&B near the airport. The hotel staff couldn't have cared less and one came very close to getting smacked.I had stayed in the hotel quite often but i will never be back. It was always a cheap place to stay, that is the only reason i ever stayed in the first place. Really, it's just a dump.
Doesn't rise above budget

A great location for both Old Trafford football and cricket grounds but that's about as good as it gets. The rooms are very small and could do with a lick of paint. Breakfast was OK but the staff serving really couldn't care less - anything was too much bother for them - After Day 1 decided it was better to have breakfast out! Worst aspect was our room overlooked the rear car park which was frequented by people engaged in some very dodgy dealings. Suffice to say we won't be returning.
Brilliant weekend !!

It was the first time I'd been to Manchester and didn't really know what to expect. The hotel was definately the highlight of the weekend. The room was amazing and the people were brilliant and very helpful as we didn't really know where we were. I would recommend it to anyone visiting Manchester, brilliant weekend !!!
