I only ate breakfast, as that was bad enough - day one - scrambled eggs like rubber, and bacon so salty it was inedidble. Day 2 - tried fried egg- it was raw! Reception made a mess of checking me out - tried to tell me I had to pay when it was already paid through company - held me up for 20 minutes while they phoned booking company - turned out that despite the fact that I had just given my key in - with number on it, they had paperwork for a completely different room, not even similar. They made me late for my meeting, and I didn't even get an apology for their mistake. I was not impressed, overall. Room Ok - clean, quiet, all you'd expect for a 3 star. Reception on TV was pretty poor.I'd forgotten what grainy pictures looked like!
Certainly wouldn't recommend it.

great city Manchester has a great city centre - lots to see and do. A couple days minimum is needed, and you don't need a car.

Take a SAT Nav Take a SAT Nav as the city centre is a bit of a maze - one ways etc. Lots of traffic lights & it's a case of "If your not fast, you're last!" so perhaps not for nervous drivers..
