I stayed at this hotel last year and found it very relaxing. They have all the facilities I needed as a traveller from abroad (especially the Jacuzzi. I played a round of golf and the course is excellent. I found more information on the golf here at www.worsleypark.info. Thoroughly recommended.

Top Local Tips for Manchester
spoilt for choice Both the Trafford Centre and Manchester city centre are excellent for shopping and restaurants-you can't go wrong for a weekend away. Parking pricey in city but free at Trafford.
Taxis are cheap We used a taxi to get us from Eccles to the Marriott and it only cost us £6 which was great value - use taxis to get around. This journey where we live would most likely have been £15-20 !!
Make sure you have cash! Lots of it! I didn't realize taxis were so expensive in the UK - so if you're trying to save money, definitely get acquainted with the busses
