BEDBUGS!

Do not go here! My bed was full of bedbugs. I'm still covered in a rash after 1.5 weeks. I found out at 3 a.m. when they were crawling all over my sheets, leaving blood stains. When I told them they moved me (it was too late though) but I got no refund. This place is a dump!

The hotel reminds me of a down and out hostel. After booking in we went to the room allocated. We were so dissapointed that we looked at each other and said NO to each other. The bed was only a three quarter bed, we asked for a double, the pillows were wafer thin and smelt musty. The bed was like sitting on floor boards. The bathroom was filthy, it was a disabled bathroom. The bar was empty, dirty tables the chairs looked filthy, it looked unused and unwelcoming. We didn't see the dining room as we felt sick enough as it was. We asked for our money back, which we got, and found another hotel that met our standards.
What a dump!!

When we first arrived, there was a musty old fashion smell about the place.
Our room blatently hadn't been cleaned for years!
Behind the beds and draws, there was black mold growing on the walls.
The TV was atleast 20 years old, and the colour was terrible. A purple streak across the top and green across the bottom made the programmes unwatchable.
The bathroom was disgusting. There was toilet paper covered in mess on the side, dirty footprints on the floor (which we had to rinse with the shower to clean).
There were white stains on the mirror and cutains. The sachets of milk were out of date. There was nobody at the bar when we wanted a drink so we had to go to the shop around the corner. Not worth £50 if you ask me. The only positive thing, was the beds. They were quite comfortable.

TV doesn't work. Good Breakfast. Bathroom needs cleaning. At least clean sheets and towels. Good for the budget traveller.

surprise hideaway as you're walking along the left hand side of oxford street towards the main city keep an eye out for a little set of stairs on the pedestrian island of one of the sidestreets... it's actually the entrance to a really cute little bar! theres probably enough room to seat about 30 people at most but it's got a real grungy laid back atmosphere and plays great music!
Fancy an Indian meal? Go to Karim's Restaurant. Excellent buffet, beautiful setting (chandeliers etc), superb service. Watch out though, it's not licenced, so if you like 10 pints of lager with your Indian, it's not for you.
