Top Local Tips for Manchester

Museums One great thing about the UK is, that the national Museums have free entrance. The artmuseum is ok, with 2 good paintings of Canaletto and Belotto. The Manchester Museum has an ok collection of dinosaurbones and anceient egyptian artifacts

Vinyl heaven This hotel is but a short walk from Oldham Street, home to some of the best independent record shops in the UK, and indeed some very funky clothing shops, cool cafes and interesting art spaces.

Art Gallery Excellent for a tea or coffee stop. Exhibits well displayed. Good displays of buttons when visited in June 2008!
