Anyway, what can I say ...
The Hotel Location - On a main road in and out or Maidstone. Very noisy, especially on a Saturday night when the local chav elements decide to (a) start fights, (b) race their soup'ed up ford fiesta's through the town, and (c) vomit everywhere.
The Staff - the staff on the desk where relatively helpful to start with (see later) however, the staff serving breakfast (if I can dignaify their attempts with the term) were a joke. We had to ask for everything at least twice. A full english breakfast was given to me (with bacon, sauages etc) five mins after I told them I was a vegetarian. I couls go on - it was embarassing.
The Room - The room itself was not too bad apart from a number of things. There was no noise insulation and it was nice to hear the bloke next door snoring away. However, that wasn't really a problem as the noise from the main raod outside was horrible enough ...
The Vermin - The room was also plagued with flies. We had at leadt 15 big juicy flies wixxing around the room. The staff refused to move us to another room and gave us a can of fly spray (which, not surprisingly, was right to hand - they obviously have a regular problem.)
The Vermin (cont). .... So I was forced to open the window to hear the holligans and cars outside to get some fresh air into the room after having been forced to spray noxious fumes to get rid of the flies. ONLY TO FIND the window ledges were covered in pigeon faeces and a sign asking us not to open the windows more than 3 inches as pigeons fly into the rooms.
All in all the worst hotel I have stayed in, in a long time. I would avoid this hotel like the plague - which is what you might end up with if you stay there.
P.S. - The television only had three channels which couldn't tuned in properly
