we stayed here for five nights and it was bliss. The location is beautiful and best of all quiet! Our room was lovely and kept immaculate through out our stay.the bed was the best we have ever had at a b&b we slept so well. the breakfast is really excellent and kay makes a lovely cuppa and cake. richard and kay are lovely people give this b&b a try you won't be disappointed!

A very nice homey, family run hotel, with nice views and run by a pleasant and friendly family. Five star rating for food does not do them justice. Highly recommended.

The Heatherville hotel is a cosy seven bedroomed hotel with a warm and friendly service.
It is a very very dog friendly place, there are many many walks and and the coast and countryside is stunningly beautiful.
It is in a quiet location, overlooking the River Lyn and surrounding woodland. The drive up to the entrance is very narrow with some very sharp corners to negotiate.
Car parking is adjacent, the hotel is a non-smoking, and as we said before dogs are very welcome.

My husband and I drove past the Heatherville on a previous visit to Lynton & Lynmouth and decided to check out their website looking for a pet friendly hotel.
We stayed two nights we'd recommend it to everyone with a dog, that is providing you are capable of driving up a steep hill to the car park.
Its a big, lovely Victorian house with the most amazing views. The rooms were tasteful and modern but not over the top.
Breakfast was nice and a great way to start the day. We had two enjoyable nights.

The Heatherville is a peaceful and relaxing guesthouse standing above Lynmouth, although the road up to the property is difficult around some very very tight hairpin corners.
We chose the Heatherville as it takes pets and although normally we don't take a dog away with us, this time we had to.
The decor is nice if slightly too traditional for our taste with the bedrooms a touch over powering with heavy drapes and half testers.
Breakfast and service were nice enough but the place just lacked a little atmosphere.
Lynmouth makes an ideal location from which to discover Exmoor and the stunning and dramatic coastline and the area is to be thoroughly recommended for a relaxing break away from it all.

Quiet location overlooking Lynmouth, difficult to find up narrow steep zig zag single track road. Nice bedrooms although slightly over the top decoration for our liking.
Breakast and staff nice enough, we preferred to eat out in the evening although it was a bit of a hike back up afterwards. Being a pet friendly hotel it was not really to our liking.
