Spent three nights at the Rock hotel in October. The hotel was clean and the staff very friendly. We booked room 2 and was not disappointed. The food was excellent. Very flexible at breakfast time regarding what was available, and plentiful. They could not do enough for us, we would definitely go again, we would recommend this Hotel to any one. The only reason I have not given 10 was the parking, very tight.

Came to stay for 3 nights in may, weather was great and so was the hotel. The views from our room was like a postacard, clean and comfortable bed, great staff. My wife and I ate in the restaurant all 3 nights and wish we could have stayed for a month!! - Amazing.

I booked the Hotel after viwing the Hotels Web-site. I arrived in early october to a Very Warm Welcome from Tim Hart the Manager, he assisted with our luggage to our Room and nothing was too trouble. We were offered the choice of either eating in the on-site Bar which had a wide choice of either Bar Snacks or Lovely Evening Specials or a Relaxing Meal in the Harbourside Restaurant, during our stay we ate in every evening as the food is Superb and great vaule for Money. The View from our Room was stunning, the room was also Excellentely Cleaned and Maintained. All the Staff were superb especially Tim, nothing was too much trouble. I will Return to this Hotel over & over again.

From the web site the rooms looked lovely, so we booked for a few nights. Our room was adequate and clean, but didn't live up to the standard we anticipated from the website. The Rock House loses something for us as it has a pub licence with a public bar and beer garden.
5 Stars, Best Hotel I've ever been too.

I booked a 5 Night stay at this Hotel, after viewing the Hotels Website!! It lived upto expectations and beyond. This Hotel has Charm, Atmosphere and above all Great Staff. The food is Execellent both Value and Quality, the Rooms our superbly Clean and well furnished, all with stunning Views, the Staff are Wonderful, Nothing is to much trouble. I recommend this Hotel to anybody whether Young or Old. I will return to this establishment and advise anybody wishing to stay in Lynmouth to book into this delight of a Hotel.

We booked a four-night stay solely on the hotel's web site and were a little nervous; however it has a good location by the harbor, putting green and childrens playground.
We had all but one meal on tables in their beer garden or the public bar. There is easy access to one of the many footpaths leading to the River Lyn. Our room was adequate; the hotel was clean, but lacking in atmosphere.
