Worst buffet breakfast

Although an English breakfast is offered, the "buffet" we were invited to chose from consisted of two glass bowls.These were 1/4 full of cornfakes and bran. That was it! We had paid £125 for a very average double bedroom. No wonder more people go to Spain etc .Very dissapointing. Never go back again.

Poor service, facilities and expensive

I stayed here last year and was very disappointed. We wanted a hotel with a swimming pool. The website said there was a pool which was indoors. When we got there the conservatory had been knocked down making the pool an outdoors one. In any event it was out of bounds and could not be used. There was no mention of this when we made the booking. The service was dreadful - we were one of only two guests staying that weekend. However, the service at dinner and breakfast was slow. The heating was not put on during our stay and the hotel was freezing. Finally we had to leave very early. There was no-one to provide a breakfast so we asked if they could provide us the night before with some breakfast we could take with us, eg a croissant (especially as I had my 2 year old son with me). This was refused. In summary this hotel is expensive, with poor service and facilities and I would not recommend it to anyone.
