I traveled to london for an event at Olympia, the hotel was easy to find, close to the tube and was cheep!
I have to say I will not be back, the rooms were cleanish small and the bathroom (cupboard) was very small and covered in mold. The shower reminded me of being back at school with the cold rough floor to stand on!
after our first sleepless night (the pillows are terrible, I had to fold mine in half)we went to our event at olimpia.
On our return we noticed an item missing from our room, we reported it right away. We were told they would look for it.
The next morning I asked at the desk and was told they would look for it and if they couldn't find it they would pay for it!!
A month later I am still phoning them, at least every other day and they are still looking for it!!!! when I asked them just to send me the money they started implying that the cleaner would not have taken it so they are not paying for it.
If I ever get a result I will let you know but don't think they are bothered.

The best thing about this hotel is that it is located literally steps outside of the Kensington train station, which was very convenient for a late-night arrival in London. No worrying about trouncing around the streets with your luggage looking for your hotel. The place is clean, and no-frills, so no complaints there. We didn't plan on spending much time in the room anyway. The room was always clean and made up when we came in for an afternoon rest. However, the noise level, especially at night, was atrocious. There are large, noisy garbage trucks that roam the streets at all hours of the night, and sundry other delivery vehicles, which literally shake the building. If you stay in this hotel, plan on investing in some earplugs. Or better yet, try and find a hotel that is off one of the many (much quieter) side streets in this neighborhood. You'll be glad you did. Another tip: Try and stay in a neighborhood that can boast of some late-night eateries. This was a constant problem for us; as we are night-owls, and always had a late night appetite and no place to find even an simple sandwich after midnight. The prices were reasonable at this hotel, which is a definite consideration in expensive London.
