Don't risk it...

We stayed there at the end of Aug. 2005. We paid extra for an 'executive' room. That was the first joke. The second is: this hotel is possibly 2 -star because of location - and that's all. It was hot, noisy, worn out and sad. I cannot fathom why it has received some decent reviews. Possibly they employ someone to feed good reviews to every site possible. Please listen to an non-employee DON'T GO THERE!

Unbearable conditions.

This hotel is supposed to have a 4 star rating. It has no air conditioning and when we stayed there on only a warm evening the room was 90 degrees F and was totally unbearable. On making a complaint we were given no help. This hotel receives complaints daily about this matter we were informed by the duty manager but Thistle hotels do not want to know and there is nothing they can do about it. Avoid at all costs!
