Great location, poor service!

The location of this hotel was perfect for our holiday as it was very central, but the staff was less than helpful. All the staff we spoke to were foreigners who didn't understand what we were asking for. We got a very creepy, preverted phone call in the middle of 1 night and when we spoke to reception, she didn't understand and all she could do was say that phone numbers might have been mixed up! We asked for a taxi to be booked for us but concierge said that we could hail one easily from the street - this is not the kind of service I would expect from a 4 star hotel. We were very dissapointed and will not go there again!!

Great service & stunning receptionist

I had to go to London from bristle for a business meeting I usually stay at the Kensington palace hotel but this time I chose to stay in the thistle Euston as it was closer to the meeting that I had to attend to.
The room was ok but I would expect a bit more from a 4 star hotel the food was nice and a decent price but the customer service made up for everything.
I would give 10/10 for the customer service in Euston.
There were about 4 people in reception but I was amazed by the receptionist she was gorgeous.
I will definitely stay there again.
They offer free newspaper how great is that? lol
