Thoroughly disappointing tea
Had tea organised for a birthday party (11 girls in their thirties) at the Savoy. What should have been a treat was a real disappointment. Dreadful, dreadful service which was slow and incompetent, mediocre cakes. A real contrast to tea at Claridges which is miles better. Please don't go anywhere near this overpriced place.

One Special Hotel
My husband and I stayed just one night at The Savoy for a luxury break. What a fantastic hotel! From the moment you arrive you are made to feel special by every single member of staff. Our room had a view of the Thames and The City - spectacular at night time. Bathroom was 1920's style Hollywood luxury. We had dinner in The Grill - wonderful food and service. Can't WAIT to go back! A really fabulous hotel.
