I stayed at the Cavendish last week and must say it is now my favourite hotel in London! Having stayed at numerous other hotels in the same area, The Cavendish is most definitely our favourit. The service was so much more personal. I shall definitely be returning and have already placed my next reservation. The location is second to none, right in between Piccadilly Circus and Green Park, I found it extremely easy to discover London by foot with all of the key attractions within a few minutes walk. The staff were very helpful and friendly, no query was left unanswered and they went out of their way constantly to make sure we had a great experience. Had a wonderful weekend, the rooms were very well sized for London and for the price we paid very good value. Their new tv systems are very hi-tech with stylish Samsung flatscreen tv's, a million channels and the latest movies. We ate breakfast in their restaurant on two occasions and the food was delicious, so much choice and very...... Read more

Tired & Worn Room

I was shocked by how old and worn the room was. Carpet was full of stains, and thee's just a kind of worn quality to the the furniture (cracks and chips on the desk), curtains (ah those polyester sheers)... This is a boutique hotel that definitely lacks any of the polish or pep you might be reading or seeing. The staff is nice. But overall, this hotel is already tired and dated.

We always stay here when in London. Its location is great. Breakfast and room service is good. Greens restaurant across the road is excellent. There’s a cheap pub which does food next door. Very friendly staff. They even posted me my teddy which I had left in my room! Only fault is the rooms are quite small.

Rhapsody in Brown, Cream & White

These are the theme colours of the decoration in both the public and bedroom spaces. Even the young friendly staff are dressed in beige and white. We were pleased with our comfortable, quiet and well appointed room on the second floor. The shower was slow to drain and you felt you were going to flood the place. Call to reception didn't seem to improve things. Buffet breakfast was OK but predictable, and cooked items could look a bit tired. Didnt eat dinner in.
