For a hotel with pretentions, The Capital failed singularly to live up to my expectations. Having paid extra for a so-called Deluxe Room ("The room is normally charged at £325 per night exclusive of VAT and breakfast"), I was disappointed by the size & decor of the room.
You may also care to note that "The Capital is not a 5 star hotel, (it is) actually classified as a 5 Red Star Townhouse Hotel".
The bar was horribly full of cigarette & cigar smoke, despite the fact that they say the bar
"ventilation system was fitted two years ago."
My room service breakfast did not arrive at 06:45 as requested (I had an early flight to catch). On ringing room service the phone was eventually answered & put straight back down without any conversation.
