After arriving and ringing on the door we were greated by a scruffy looking man, who was reluctent to show us around, the bar was old and dirty and so was the Pool area, is supposed to have been refurbished, They wouldnt even show us what the rooms were like, staff were bad mannered. Looks nothing like the website, dread to think what the rooms were like. Left immediately

I do not recommend staying here. From the reception desk to the rooms, this is absolutely poor quality. The receptionist didn't even speak English. This isn't even a place to stay if you like rude service.

Top Local Tips for London
What to do on your first Day in London Get on the Open Top Tour Bus early and orientate yourself to the city and attractions. A 1 day pass is enough. On subsequent days go back to the ones you want to see first hand. Westminster Abbey is closed on Mondays. Most of the London attractions are in close proximity to each other so if you can WALK, WALK and WALK. Use the Metro as they are easy to use and much faster than buses and sometimes walking. The Heathrow Express goes directly from Heathrow Airport to Paddington. Consider staying in Paddington then it is so easy to arrive and depart.
Cental London shopping Great place to shop and nice restaurants too. Oxford street is simply too good.
