This hotel is a total dump, the walls in our room had not been painted for years and the wardrobe door was smashed, the bathroom was disgusting, a piece of lace curtain NAILED to the wall and torn in half covered the window, and the mildew and damp covered the wall by the bath. The staff were very unfriendly. I will stay anywhere once its clean, and did not expect luxury but this hotel is terrible, and by the way the pictures are misleading, the front of the building is nothing like the ones shown.

No longer majestic!

This hotel is in a relatively convenient location (although a bit a hike from Earl's Court station), but no longer "majestic" (maybe it was once). The room photos posted were misleading - the actual room was small and cramped (you could barely get past the bed), smelled bad and had wallpaper peeling. When I asked if we could upgrade to a nicer room, I was told that there "weren't any", even though the hotel was almost empty in January. We cancelled the rest of the reservation and only stayed the night of our arrival. We found that there were numerous other hotels in the Earl's Court area that are in the same price range and much nicer - one just across the street from the Majestic. Our advice - look elsewhere.
