You are immediately confronted by the strong smell of tobacco smoke when you enter the hotel which isn't a very nice start. I was 'satisfied' by my room. It was small, especially the shower which is the smallest shower I've ever seen. I'm only 5'10" and had to duck underneath the shower head so it would be a nightmare for anyone taller than myself).
The room was generally clean - although I noticed a few stains on the covers. To be honest I didn't really look too closely as I decided that what I couldn't see, couldnt harm me! I noticed that although my bed had been made, the covers had not been washed - simply made the bed with the covers I had slept in the previous night (not impressed).
The lift is a manual lift where you have to open and close the doors your self - which sums the hotel up really, very tired and in need of modernisation.
