Noisy room - needs double glazing

Impressed with reception but room very outdated and new bedding and curtains would give it a good lift. Got no sleep as a result of heavy traffic outside from 3am and the windows are not equipped to keep the noise out

Great Service and Staff; Tired but clean, cold A/C, well maintained

We had two rooms, one was very good, the other looked like a rock band had trashed it and the hotel had cleaned it up very well without replacing the carpet or torn daybed. They moved us to an excellent (but old, same carpet, clean this time) larger room with no increase in charges.
On the whole, a VERY good hotel in London near Piccadilly, well managed, tireless staff...but NEEDS a remodelling to justify the price. Would be a 10 with remodelling! I'd stay there again despite the problems.

Le Meridien Piccadilly - An expensive lesson in poor value

I called the week before we left and they had us down for a standard instead of deluxe room. They said they would correct the problem (thank God I called to check!). When we arrived the room they had for us on the fifth floor was not ready and we would have to wait hours past the check out time to get into it. They told us that they had another "deluxe" room on the 2nd floor if we didn't want to wait (Jesus, they had a whole week to plan!!!). We were exhausted so we took it. The carpet was well worn and the furniture was dusty. There was virtually no drawer space. The bathroom was small and the water from the shower leaked on to the floor no matter what you did with the shower curtain. The air conditioning system could only blow cold air and it didn't matter how you adjusted it. The mattress was fair to poor as far as support goes. Also, the pillows where so worn that they were hard and had no fluff. We had also asked twice for a roll out bed for our daughter and they forgot both...... Read more

Excellent Hotel With Outstanding Service

This hotel was arranged online and at very competitive rate for the area. I was not anticipating such a nice room for the rate. I was traveling withy my wife and daughter (14 years old) and I had plenty of room and excellent furnishings. It was well worth the money spent.
