Not a Nice Hotel

The room we stayed in smelled badly, the pillow cases were missing off two pillows, the blanket had a hole in it from a cigar burn, the restaurant and room service were closed without explanation, breakfast consists of tea and toast (4.95 extra for English breakfast). The receptionist was not overly friend or helpful, the exit door on our corridor was unmarked, the shower was very weak, and the bed was very uncomfortable. Not a pleasant experience at all.

It was in a very green area of West London - very peaceful.
We arrived at about 7.00pm after phoning ahead to get directions, check in was painless and we were given the keys to our room. We specifically asked for a non smoking room, so was a little dismayed when we smelt smoke approaching our room - however it was all okay as through the next door this vanished to the faint smell of bleach (always good!).
The room was small but adequate - we had a twin room, the room came complete with kettle, tv and a private bathroom.
We dumped our stuff got showered and then went out - shower was nice and hot - no problems at all :)
We came back at about Midnight - no problems getting in with the night porter - hotel was nice and quiet.
Breakfast was as expected - "continental" (e.g cornflakes and toast with tea and coffee and orange) - if you want a cooked breakfast you will have to pay for it - prices were reasonable tho - and the Breakfast room is quite nice.
We checked out and left.
The only bad thing I could say about the hotel was it was in zone 4, however it only takes about 10 mins to get into central london via Hangar Lane station and its not really the hotels fault is it? hehe
Definetly recommend it if your looking for a cheap place to crash when out visiting london - the prices were fantastic and staff nice and friendly.
