| Good location and excellent staff! |
| Location: Edgware Road next to Egdware Rd tube.
Price: A double room cost about 90 pounds. Look out for offers! This is the only Hilton in London that have quad rooms. (!)
Rooms: We stayed in the West Wing in a Family Hilton deluxe plus room. Nice room, clean and spacious with panoramic wiew. The rooms could do with a redecoration, they felt a bit worn. A special touch is that they have plugs for all different kinds of electrical gadget, wich helped a silly swede that forgot her travel adaptor at home.
Staff: Very friendly and helpful. At first we got a room in a different category than reserved, and they really worked hard to make it up to us. We got a complimenatry breakfast worth 90 punds and a better room the following day. A special thanks to Rubeena in front desk!
Breakfast: Excellent! A wide choice of warm and colf food, the buffet table must have ben at least 10 meters long including an egg chef table. Divine freshly squeezed orange juice served at the table. There could be a bit of a wait for seatings though.
Attractions close by: Madame Tussauds at Baker Street, Marble Arch and Odeon Cinema, Oxford Street.
Food: The Tyburn, a Weatherspoon Pub next to Odeon Cinema at Marble Arch (18-20 Edgware Road. Nice food at very resonable prices. Sunday Roast dinner was about 7 pounds including a drink!
Yes, we look forward to stay here again, this is a nice hotel at a good location but itīs the staff that make all the difference! They are super! |
