What a let down

Upon arrival at the hotel we asked I a twin room had been booked as we had requested and was told that it was a double. We asked if this could be swapped to a twin and the receptionist told us she would see if that was possible when we returned at 14.00 when the rooms would be ready. She did not write anything down and when we returned acted as if my request for a twin was a new request and just informed me in broken English "it is not possible" without even appearing to have a look. When we went into the room we were shocked at the size of the room, which can only be described as a single room with a double bed in it. There was hardly room to open the bathroom door (which opened outwards because the bathroom was so small). The room where breakfast was served felt like a canteen. On the plus side, the location was excellent (I can only assume that the location is what made it so expensive), however the porter did not manage to get us a Taxi and reception told us there was no......
