The Ibis is a modern, clean and bright hotel. It is simple in taste, but provides all the necessary comforts for a reasonable price in an excellent proximity to the town centre and particularly the Albert Dock area where there are plently of bars, restaurants and museums - including the Tate Modern if you're feeling arty!

Top Local Tips for Liverpool

O'Neills bar/Anfield stadium This is fantastic place for food, it's central and and big portions, everyone seemed to gather there, it was packed. Also visit the Anfield stadium, home of Liverpool football club. I'm not a football fan but I am now!!!!

Buses It can often work out best to get a day card as one way bus fares can be expensive.

Restaurant We ate in a Piano Bar during our stay. The meal was delicious, and the music was good!! Was definately something different.
