We were attracted to this hotel by reading about the awards it had won - and the appealing photos. We were disappointed - we cannot understand how this hotel won awards. A basic problem was that the room was too small as a double - one side of the double bed was beside a wall. There was not enough room for two people to move around - and there would not have been enough room for two large cases. There was no lounge. Breakfast: Toast - one slice per person, extra had to be asked for; no other type of bread served. Tea: one small pot served at the same time as cereal. Rashers - thick and salty. Tomatoes - tinned. All in all the hotel was not welcoming and we would not recommend it to anybody.
