fantastic views,recreational areas and gardens.location perfect.
food good, service v good
problems; staff uniforms seemed to be grubby on certain people, the room we had [255] backed on to kitchens which was extremely noisy by machinery and staff on early shift.

WALK INTO KESWICK THERE IS A LOVELY WALK FROM THE HOTEL INTO THE TOWN OF KESWICK. ITS IS ALL ON THE FLAT AND THE WALK TAKES YOU THROUGH THE FIELDS. ITS IS VERY PLEASANT IN SUMMER OR WINTER, WHEN THE SNOW IS ON THE SURROUNDING HILLS. KESWICK IS A BUSY TOWN AT ANY TIME OF THE YEAR. PLENTY OF SHOPS CAFES AND RESTAURANTS.
Walking to town Be prepared to walk into Keswick, about 15-20 minutes through meadows and fields.

Staff at the hotel could not even feed my family when they arrived at the Hotel. Not a sandwich, was available.
The rooms transport you back to the 80’s, John Cleese in charge. The upgraded rooms are not available, nor is room service or the management of the hotel. In fact it would seem that staff can only say no to customer request.
If given an option, stay somewhere else, a tent, a car (not in the hotel car park, it to small, thanks for small mercies).
