Have just stayed in this hotel for three nights, bed, breackfast and evening meal, the food was very good, plenty of choice, the room was comfy and clean towels every day, good shower, would not hesitate to stay here again. A very enjoyable stay. Thank you

Booked to attend the Christmas event with my sister who is 83. (I am 81) She had to be taken into hospital so we informed the hotel in advance to say we couldn't attend. They say we don't get a refund. £150 Lot of money to us. Be aware. Check policy if you consider booking here!!

The details of the hotel and it's name, not to mention the cost, we expected a lot more from this hotel. The rooms were pokey and dated and the bathroom even smaller. The whole feel to the hotel appears to be stuck somewhere in the 1970's with a large number of old zombie type people ambling about. Obviously a coaching hotel with it's main trade with an average age of 75.
There was very limited parking and we had to park in the pay and display around the corner at our own cost. There was nicer and cheaper hotels near by.

We stayed at the Ilfracombe Carlton in June 2006 we found the room we had to be off a good standard with a cracking shower as requested. The position off the hotel is about half a mile from the pretty harbour, there are several other hotels in the area if you wanted to sample a drink somewhere other than your hotel bar. The staff at the Carlton were pleasant and anything that was asked off them they tried to apply.
